Ichiban Boshi @ the Pavilion

29 March 2008
It was yet another outing to try Ichiban Boshi for the second time as the first visit was a great one. This is also another reasonable place but of course, not as reasonable as Sakae Sushi. This time there was a third person & a child tagging along.
As similar as eating at the […]

Yet another Sakae Sushi @ Subang Parade

1 May 2008
After the big bang ending to McDonald’s promotion on 30 April 2008 where with a coupon, buying a large McValue set will get you a 6-piece chicken set, both of us were actually still full though we had it for supper the day before! Thus, what better food to eat but Sakae Sushi. […]

Another Genki Sushi @ 1 Utama

23 April 2008
Another fabulous try at Genki Sushi, this time at 1 Utama, still proven to be better than before, though not as good as the on in KLCC. Aparently, some places do improve to my great surprise!
The spicy salmon at RM 2, were in slices & spicy enough unlike the minced adulterated ones at Sakae […]

As seen from the yummy plates, we ordered salmon skin […]

Acceptable Hachiban Ramen @ 1 Utama

1 January 2008
Well, for a change, this Japanese restaurant did not really appeal both in terms of being crowded or classy. Nevertheless, this place was simply given a try due to the attractive RM8.80 a bowl of Japanese noodles.
Gyoza (RM4.80), Tomyam ramen (RM8.80) & Gyuniku (RM8.80) was ordered. The gyuniku is similar in taste as any […]

Another Sakae Sushi Restaurant @ Sunway Pyramid

26 January 2008
Once again I decided to try yet another outlet of Sakae Sushi. Tried the Fried Maki, Salmon skin temaki, kakiage & salmon karnage or Fried salmon fish head. The prices are RM 1.90, RM 1.90, RM 1.90 & RM 3.90 respectively, which is similar to the other outlets. Salmon skin temaki is packed with […]
