Fusiony Restoran Hong Cha @ OUG

yummy pork noodles25 October 2009

This unassuming old looking coffeeshop attracts many gluttons everyday. However, it is only open at 6pm until 11pm. The reason why I themed it ‘fuisiony’ is that it serves japanese food on top of the usual pork noodles fair.

The pork noodles was great probably because there was lots of ingredients, including prawns & squids. Initially I thought I got the pork mee special but the waiter assured me it was the normal sized at only Rm 4.50! The pork soup broth was tasty & for the lard lovers, there were lots of it while there did not seem much MSG put into it as I was not thirsty after eating it.

menuI enjoyed eating at the place as the airconditioning was cool enough for a coffee shop or for those who would like al fresco, they can sit outside too. On top of the fusion food, there is quite an extensive list of drinks too like ice blended juices & tong sui or desserts. I tried the ice blended red bean soya, was great & the ice was blended very fine too! The menu would speak for itself but unfortunately, the drinks section is abit blur.
