Fish paste noodles @ Restoran Kwai Sun

It has been quite awhile since I last patronised this coffee shop which previously was called Restoran New Taman SEA. I have also passed by this place couple of times in the daytime but I only realised today that the most of the stalls were still opened at night! Thus, on this lame Saturday night at 9+pm just after work, I ate here & surprisingly many stalls were still open.

After pondering awhile, I ordered the dry or kuan lou Hong Kong fish paste noodles kuey teow stallfrom a local chinese person handling 2 stalls, another which is Penang kuey teow. The kuey teow was super fine & thin which was nice to simply slurp it up & it was good to have some fried garlic to go with it. The fish paste was tasty with real fish taste, not the artificial kind & some seaweed & beancurd was added into the soup too. Only downside was the soup was a tad bid salty. Price was affordable at RM 4.50 considering it is available almost all day long unlike some coffee shops which only operate in the afternoon.

The iced leong cha at RM 1.30 was also fish paste kuey teow dryworth mentioning as it was thick & refreshing after a hot day .
