BlackBall Dessert (Taiwan) Weekday Buy 1 Free 1

Taiwan BlackBall dessert promo Feb2012

Landed rather late in SS15 Subang, the hub of Taiwanese dessert, since last Oct and already has 5 outlets around west Malaysia, BlackBall is another dessert chain from Taiwan’s Jiu Fen (if not mistaken) that is worth mentioning besides other popular rivals like Snowflakes and Chatime.

There are daily selected items for the promotion, including the BlackBall signature on Monday which is probably one of the best in town, I would recon. Allow me to share my experience on the BlackBall signature, on top of the chewy and quality taro balls, pearls, red beans and milky cream (FOC), the additional yellow sweet potato and yam sticks make all the magic. I believe they are mixed with top ingredients that gives a higher level of rich & aromatic flavour together with the right powerdery texture of potato and yam which one could not experience from any taro balls.

The result of the intensed flavour & natural sweetness, plus the chewy powdery texture? It is simply speechless and memorable!

The last topping for the BlackBall is the signature glass jelly aka ‘Xian Cao’. I always like Taiwanese glass jelly as it is so much better in all aspects as compared to local versions. Their version of glass jelly from Jiu Fen is not just authentic, smooth, and pure but also firm!

I think I have found a dessert which gives me ultimate joy and yet sin free as it is so healthy and enjoyable, rest assured it is pretty affordable with this good promotion. Nevertheless, the only thing that I do not enjoy is the Winter Melon Tea where the Sky Pearl is hard and plasticy. Last note, the sweetness from their desserts and beverages are just nice for me, unlike others which I usually need to request for less sugar.

So, do check out the menu and other details from here. The promotion is valid until 17th FEB,  you can collect stamps from the promotion as well.
