For the SS2 or Petaling Jaya folks who are aquainted with Tropicana City Mall, lo & behold, there is yet another new GSC Cinema in town! This brings the total to 4 Cinemas in Petaling Jaya alone (not inclusive Subang!)

Anyhow, coming back to the main topic, in conjunction with GSC’s opening screening 20 June (Saturday) - 23 June (Tuesday) at its 8 screens, 1,449 seats, San Francisco steakhouse & Santini Ristorante Italiano is offering 50 % discount on all burgers & pizzas whenever a used movie ticket stub is shown. As far as I know, the conditions are as follows:
- 1 ticket stub for that day must be shown when ordering
- You must order a main meal to get the pizza or burger at 50%
- Only 1 redemption per table per bill is allowed, 1 item at 50%

Thus, do let me know if anyone else had different terms & conditions

Tastewise, I shall give the thumbs up to this place as both the pizza & mushroom burger was great. The pizza had sufficient cheese, ingredients & on top of that, the crust was crispy, light & baked to perfection. The mushroom burger had lots of thick chips which were crispy on the outside & not too soft on the inside, a small bowl of mushrooms & creamy thick coleslaw. It also came with a thick & tasty patty as well as cheese.

For those who cannot get enough of San Francisco / Santini, they can opt for the various daily set meals which start from RM16.90 onwards.

First, McDonald’s introduced the following McSaver items:
- RM 3 for 2 pies (banana or apple) or RM2 pie
- RM 3 for a 4 piece chicken nuggets
- RM 4 filet-o-fish burger
- RM 3 Sundae (Strawberry / Chocolate)

Following came slightly more recent
- RM 2 small fries
- RM 3 beef burger
- RM 2 small carbonated drink
- RM 3 chicken porridge

And now, (I think many would have known about this since there is much publicity) they have come out with the most recent & I believe most attractive to all, RM 5.95 McValue Lunches! Imagine this, where can you find an air-conditioned restaurant that serves set lunches at RM5.95? Virtually can’t find any! Furthermore, it starts everyday (Just last month it was only every weekday) from 12.00pm to 3.00pm and comes with a burger or nuggets with medium french fries & a medium carbonated drink (unlimited refill too!). The sets up for grabs are:
- double cheese burger
- 6 piece chicken nuggets
- Filet-o-fish burger
- McChicken burger

I am definitely giving this a 5 out of 5 for price! But do hurry as it may be for a limited time only as some may know McDonald’s change their great value promotional items quite frequently.

This place may be popular among the Southeners in Johor as there are 5 outlets there while there are only 2 in Klang Valley. However, I dare not say much about the taste since I have not tried it before but I will let the price do the talking for now as a fabulous food promo not to be missed. I do notice that the ambience looks great & luxurious & so does the web site (www.kinsahi.com.my) (The ad is courtesy of Sin Chiew, for those who read chinese newspapers)

Yes yes, you all do know about the promo but how about the extension to end of March? For O.R. lover like me, this is absolutely an irresistable chance to grab for more coupons.

For those who has not tried O.R. burger, correct me if I am wrong, chicken drumstick fillet is used together with the original KFC recipe to ensure you can have a succulent fillet while enjoying the ever irresistable original KFC. It is pretty similar to eating O.R. fried chicken. 

Well, some might say O.R. burgers are too small that can only be treated as a snack. Yes, it does look smaller than McMuffin but hey, we (boys and girls) have tried it and it is actually quite sufficient for breakfast looking at the fillet and its thickness. No offence for McD kaki as I love both!

It comes with scrambled eggs on O.R. burger and a cup of tea / refillable coffee, original coupons required, breakfast is served from 5am (for 24-hour outlet) or 6am-11am. Invalid at Genting Highlands, First World,  Cameron Highlands, LCCT, and Langkawi.

Anchored at Jln Bukit Bintang and expanded to Damansara Uptown in Klang Valley. The crowd once flocked to this place just like discovering J Co Donuts.

Nevertheless, this place is still popular for cakes / pastries which are pretty affordable and yet very good in taste and quality, absolutely recommended. 

On top of that, they offer very good discount and comfortable & relax environment for dining and hang out. Parking could be a hassle in Bukit Bintang but they provide jockey with reasonable rate.
