Fresh, affordable Sang Har Meen @ Jackson

sang har mee, half consumed, sorry 27 April 2008

Craving for some simple seafood meal and you do not want to burn your wallet? Head to the ‘dai chau’ stall at a corner coffee shop in section 17, PJ. At this relatively new stall opens at night, you can order ordinary chinese dishes or their Sang Har Meen / freshwater prawn noodles.

By paying only RM8, you can have a big portion of sang meen or pre-fried mee, 2 to 3 pieces of half-cut big succulent prawns with plenty of roes that occupies the gravy. In fact, this is one of the few places that serve fresh and succulent prawns with roes together with Sang Har Meen with a very low price. Undoubtly, one can easily spot that it is a popular item here.

To name some other tasty and reasonable stalls from Jackson, do check out the claypot porridge and bak kut teh.
