Endless Varieties of Fruit Juice @ Chulia Street, Georgetown

29 Nov 2007

A quick photo of the fruit stall that is blur

By looking at the stall from afar, it looks very ordinary.

However, when you observe it closely, you will be amazed by the wide variety of fresh & value for money fruits that they serve! Besides tropical fruits like dragon fruit, soursoup, jambu air/Rose Apple/Water Apple (Eugenia aquea), water crest, little mango (Tang Chai Mong in cantonese), honeydew, banana and etc, they also serve grapes, kiwi, lemon ……you just name it, they have it!

Can you believe they are all 100% fresh? It only costs around RM1.++ to RM4!

If you can find any restaurant or hawker stall that offer similar price and fruit variety around Malaysia, please leave a message and share with me as I haven’t found it elsewhere as most that I know (few open by malays) in KL has shrunk in variety, sad to say.

If you are planning for a place to have a refreshing drink and getting bored of teh tarik/coffee (which always keep some of you awake) late at night, do not hesitate to go to this place as the later it is, the more crowded it will be! Not to mention, the neighbouring stalls also offer great curry mee, noodles, Jiu Hu Eng Chai (Cuttlefish Salad with Water Convolvulus) etc where many locals are craving for.
