Western Food @ Menara AMBank food court

fish & chips4 January 2008

As I had some errants to run at Menara AMBank and was still waiting to be served when it was almost after lunch hour, I had to have a quick bite. Where else could I go but the food court & I also remembered eating there before a few years back. As it was late, most chinese food stalls were packing up except for the western food which would cook fresh food. I was also recommended to try the western food as it was quite good.

The standard chicken chop (RM7) & fish and chips (RM7) were ordered. When it came, it DID look tempting with lots of side dishes (not sure if it is because they too were about to pack up). The fish and chips came with tartar sauce, crinkle cut fries, chicken chopsalad with thousand island sauce while potato salad, ‘italian’ rice and black pepper sauce was chosen for the chicken chop. With the exception of the thousand island sauce, the tartar sauce seemed to be of the quality type while the black pepper sauce was thick & rich. For the taste, price & amount of ingredients given, it is definitely given 2 thumbs up!
